1. GANJA
Nama saintifik tumbuhan : Cannabis Sativa. Ia didapati tumbuh meliar di banyak tempat. Ia juga dikenali sebagai marihuana marijuana.
Nama jalanan : Weed, Pot, Grass, Reefer, Mary Jane, Joint, Roach atau Nail, Blunt.
Jenis-jenis ganja : kanabis herba, resin getah kanabis (hashish, charas) dan minyak hashish.
Kesan ganja : merosakkan paru-paru, mengubah fungsi jantung, menekan pengeluaran enzim dalam hati, kurang daya kawalan keseimbangan otak dan mengganggu sistem organ pembiakan manusia.
2. OPIAT
Jenis-jenis opiat : Candu, heroin, morfin dan kodien.
Nama jalanan : Candu (Black Stuff, Opium, Madat, Tar), Heroin (Fit, Fun, Tepung, Barang, Cik Putih), Morfin (M, White Powder, Monkey, Morpho), Kodein (ubat batuk).
Kesan penyalahgunaan opiat : Kegagalan jantung, HIV atau AIDS, Hepatitis, kemurungan, loya, muntah, halusinasi dan sistem imun yang lemah.
3. STIMULAN (ATS)
Amphetamine-Type Stimulants (ATS) bertindak ke atas sistem saraf pusat. Ia sejenis dadah sintetik dihasilkan melalui tindakan bahan-bahan kimia.
Nama jalanan : Methamphetamine (Syabu, Ice, Yaba), Amphetamine (Bennies, Benz), Cocaine (Coke, Snow, Blow, Toot), Crack (Base, Sugar Block, Roxanne) .
Kesan stimulan : kurang selera makan, kehilangan berat badan, kecenderungan membunuh diri, tekanan darah meningkat dan kurang kawalan emosi.
4. DEPRESEN
Depresen (penekan) merupakan sejenis dadah yang bertindak terhadap sistem otak manusia bila diambil secara berlebihan.
Jenis depresen : pil tidur dan trankuiliser.
Nama jalanan : Downers, Dormi, Ludes, Blues, Goofball, Red Devil, Yellow jackets, Pink ladies
Kesan penyalahgunaan depresen : kebimbangan, tekanan, keletihan yang kronik, tidak dapat tidur dan perubahan penglihatan.
5. INHALAN
Bahan kimia yang mengandungi bahan psikoaktif yang dihasilkan daripada pelarut organik dan bahan meruap.
Kumpulan inhalan : pelarut/cecair, bahan gas, aerosol, bahan nitrik.
Kesan inhalan : berhalusinasi, rasa mual dan pening, nafas tidak sekata dan emosi tidak stabil.
6. HALUSINOGEN
Sejenis dadah asli dan sintetik mengubah pencerapan deria dan menyebabkan ilusi sehingga amat susah membezakan antara yang benar dan tidak benar.
Nama jalanan : LSD, PCP, GHB, Rohypnol.
Kesan halusinogen : tertekan, kebimbangan, tingkah laku ganas dan paronia (tidak mempercayai orang secara keterlaluan)
7. KETUM
Pokok malar hijau, daun bewarna hijau tua berkilat, bunga kuning kecil .
Nama saintifik ialah pokok ketum (Mitragyna Speciosa Korth ).
Nama jalanan : daun ketum atau biak di Malaysia : Kratom, Ithang, Kakuan, Thom di Thailand.
Kesan penyalahgunaan ketum : menghalang motivasi, bosan dan malas, kurang sensitif terhadap kesakitan fizikal dan emosi.
8. KETAMIN
Merupakan dadah sintetik yang paling awal ditemui iaitu pada tahun 1962 oleh Calvin Stevens di Makmal Parke Davis semasa ujian mencari pengganti dadah jenis PCP sebagai ubat penenang.
Berbentuk serbuk, tetapi boleh didapati dalam bentuk cecair.
Nama jalanan : bump, cat valium, green, honey oil.
Kesan ketamin : lumpuh, gagal bertutur dengan lancar, deria penglihatan dan bunyi terjejas dan perasaan tidak pedulikan orang lain.

1. Marijuana
The scientific name of plants: Cannabis sativa. It is found growing wild in many places. It is also known as marijuana .
Street name: Weed, Pot, Grass, reefer, Mary Jane, Joint, Roach or Nail, Blunt.
The types of marijuana: cannabis herb, cannabis resin latex (hashish, charas) and hashish oil.
Marijuana effects: lung damage, alter heart function, press the production of enzymes in the liver, lack of balance control system of the brain and interfere with human reproductive organs.
2. Opiates
The types of opiates: opium, heroin, morphine and kodien.
Street name: Opium (Black Stuff, Opium, opiate, Tar), Heroin (Fit, Fun, Powder, goods, Ms. White), morphine (M, White Powder, Monkey, Morpho), codeine (cough syrup).
Effects of opiate abuse: heart failure, HIV or AIDS, hepatitis, depression, nausea, vomiting, hallucinations and a weak immune system.
3. Stimulants (ATS)
Amphetamine-Type Stimulants (ATS) acting on the central nervous system. It is a synthetic drug produced by the action of chemicals.
Street name: Methamphetamine (syabu, Ice, Yaba), Amphetamine (Bennies, Benz), Cocaine (Coke, Snow, Blow, toot), Crack (Base, Sugar Block, Roxanne).
Stimulant effects: loss of appetite, weight loss, suicidal tendencies, increased blood pressure and lack of emotional control.
4. DEPRESEN
Depresen (press) is a drug that acts on the human brain when taken in excess.
Type depresen is a sleeping pill and trankuiliser.
Street name: Downers, Dormi, Ludes, Blues, Goofball, Red Devil, Yellow jackets, pink ladies
Depresen abuse effects: concern, stress, chronic fatigue, unable to sleep and change in vision.
5. INHALAN
Chemicals that contain psychoactive substances derived from organic solvents and volatile substances.
Inhalan groups: solvent / liquid, gas, aerosols, nitric materials.
Inhalan effects: hallucinations, nausea and dizziness, irregular breathing, and emotional instability.
6. Hallucinogenic
A kind of natural and synthetic drugs alter sensory observation and cause the illusion that it's very difficult to distinguish between true and not true.
Street name: LSD, PCP, GHB, Rohypnol.
Hallucinogenic effects: depression, anxiety, violent behavior and paronia (do not trust people to death)
7. Density
Evergreen, glossy dark green colored leaves, small yellow flowers.
The scientific name is the density of trees (Mitragyna Speciosa Korth).
Street name: leaf density or breed in Malaysia: Kratom, Ithang, Kakuan, Thom in Thailand. Effect of Density abuse: preventing motivation, bored and lazy, less sensitive to physical and emotional pain.
8. Ketamine
Is the earliest synthetic drugs were found, namely in 1962 by Calvin Stevens at Parke Davis Labs during the test to find a replacement drug PCP as a sedative.
Powder, but is available in liquid form.
Street name : bump, cat valium, green, honey oil.
Effects of ketamine : paralyzed, unable to speak fluently, impaired sight and sound of mind and feelings of others.
